Maisha Organic: Delivery Schedule & Logistics

To guarantee the freshness of our microgreens and handmade products, we operate on a Fixed Weekly Schedule.


1. Zanzibar Deliveries (Weekly: Thursday & Friday)

We currently deliver across the main areas of Zanzibar, including: Stone Town, Fumba Town, Nungwi, Matemwe, Kiwengwa, Paje, Jambiani.

  • Order Deadline: Tuesday at 11:59 PM.

  • Delivery Days: Thursday and Friday (You will receive a WhatsApp call from Maisha's driver to confirm delivery).

  • Outside Delivery Zones: If you are in a remote area, your order can be dropped at the nearest Delivery Hub. No individual home deliveries outside of main routes.

2. Dar es Salaam (The Friday Ferry Run)

  • Order Deadline: Tuesday at 11:59 PM.

  • Process: Your order is dispatched via Azam Ferry on Friday morning.

  • Pick-up: Friday morning at the Dar Ferry Terminal.


3. Arusha & Mainland

We are currently in a "Beta Testing" phase for mainland deliveries.


4. Delivery Fees (Flat Rate)

To keep things simple, we have standardized our fees:

  • South/East Coast (Paje/Jambiani): FREE Delivery

  • Stone Town & North: 7,000 TZS

  • Dar es Salaam (Port Pick-up): 10,000 TZS

  • Orders over 150,000 TZS: FREE Delivery.


Delays

Because we deliver from Zanzibar, slight delays can occur due to weather conditions, ferry schedules, or transport disruptions.

If there’s ever an issue, our team will contact you immediately to update you on delivery timing.
